Spacing Event Guide: Bikes as a public good

On Thursday, September 18th, the Toronto Coalition for Active Transportation, the Clean Air Partnership and the Community Bicycle Network have organized a public forum with a series of presentations focused on sparking community discussion about public bike sharing in Toronto.

Star: Giving stolen bikes to needy gets boost

At least some of the 2,000 or so unclaimed bikes recovered in a recent police case should be tuned up and given to low-income riders who need wheels to get to work or school, cycling advocates say.
