Star: Crothers Woods a fit for both dogs and bikers

I had never heard of Crothers' Woods until the other day. It is all treed hill and bushy dale, and if you can imagine that the traffic noise on the DVP is a huge and rushing stream, you can forget you are in the city. As we walked along, I could see how people on foot, and dogs off leash, might run into problems on bike trails that are narrow, with blind corners and sudden switchbacks.

Participants won't get a yellow jersey at the end of the Tour de Greenbelt, but they may have a greater appreciation for the green space that surrounds Toronto and the GTA.
