The Toronto-Niagara BikeTrain is making a return in 2008 after a successful pilot project in 2007.

The Bike Train is a sustainable tourism and transportation initiative that will introduce bike racks onboard VIA Rail Canada service between Toronto and the Niagara Region. The 2008 edition of the service will be launching in late June and running over 8 weekends until late September.

Bike Train tickets and getaway packages will be available for purchase beginning April 15, 2008. Approximate cost for travel on the Bike Train between Toronto to Niagara Falls will be $59.00 round-trip including taxes. One-way tickets will also be available for $35. Children under 12 travel for free, but with a $5 bike transport fee per departure.

Not recommended for those unexperienced
with tightrope cycling.
