Big Rig Straddles 401 Median After Crash
Road crews are working to clear a tractor trailer off the road after it crashed on Highway 401 at Bayview and became stuck against the median.
Brampton Car Crash
A single car crash near Steeles and Hurontario in Brampton brought Peel Police out just after midnight on Tuesday. Officers were called to McMurchy Avenue and found a car on its roof.
Driver rushed to Sunnybrook after rollover
Police responded to find the man's small Mazda had flipped over in the transfer lanes. The man, in his 60s or 70s, was wearing a seatbelt, but badly injured his head, OPP Const. Dave Woodford said.
23-year-old woman is fourth pedestrian death of 2008
A 23-year-old woman was killed Friday night after being hit while crossing Wilson Ave. east of Allen Road, Toronto police said.
Car Rollover On Avenue Road
The accident occurred on Avenue Road north of Lawrence. The motorist apparently hit a snow bank and rolled, landing the car on its roof. The driver was trapped inside but quickly freed.
