A Canadian's impressions of Madison, Wisconsin... which seems to be right up there with Davis, California in terms of bike-friendliness:For someone accustomed to a growing web of bike facilities at home in Victoria, Madison was a revelation. Fifteen years of U.S. federal gas tax funding helped Madison build an impressive network of trails and on-road bike lanes, with more bike racks than the Amsterdam train station.Madison must be fantastic... the writer is from Victoria, B.C., which is supposed to be one of the most bike-friendly places in Canada.
